Who builds CheckYout?
Mathias Büschlen, host and founder. I know the guest changeover first-hand – with everything that comes with it: the cleaning team waiting for a signal, the heating running in an empty apartment, and the hours lost in between.
CheckYout is built by TEAM M digital GmbH in Oberhofen am Thunersee, a small Swiss company developing digital solutions for vacation rental management.
Why does CheckYout exist?
Because guests leave early without notice. The cleaning team waits until the official check-out time, and in between the place sits empty without anyone knowing. CheckYout solves exactly that moment: the guest scans a QR code on the way out, the cleaning team gets a WhatsApp immediately, the heating responds and the guest receives their review invitation.
One scan replaces calls, waiting and coordination.
Where is CheckYout tested?
At Chalet Rösi. This is where the idea for CheckYout was born, and where every new feature runs first – in real hosting operations with real guests. What does not hold up there never reaches customers.
What else belongs to it?
QR-Cube, our sister brand. It crafts wooden QR code cubes by hand, so important information in your vacation rental is presented beautifully instead of on a sheet of paper. Same idea as CheckYout, just in wood.
