Heating follows the booking. Last guest leaves at 11:00 → eco mode. Next booking Thursday, check-in 16:00 → tado° starts heating up at 4:00. The guest steps into a warm place – you kept it in eco mode in between.
How do I save heating costs with tado° in my vacation rental?
CheckYout switches the heating to eco mode via tado° after check-out, unless a new guest is arriving that same day, and back to comfort temperature in time for the next check-in – fully automatic.
How much can I save on heating with CheckYout and tado°?
Depends on vacancy, insulation and outside temperature. Between two guests, the heating runs in eco mode instead of staying at comfort temperature throughout. Away mode activates automatically, only when no new guest is expected on the same day.
How do I set up the tado° connection?
In the CheckYout dashboard, connect your tado° account via OAuth. Then assign thermostats to your properties. About 5 minutes.
