Do I need a PMS?
No. CheckYout works without one. A PMS makes things more comfortable because the guest name and next check-in come in automatically – but it is not a requirement.
What if the guest ignores the sign?
On the installations we see so far, the vast majority of guests scan when the sign is placed well (right next to the door or at the key-return spot). For the few who miss it, your existing check-out channels keep working as before.
How long does setup take?
Create an account, print the A4 PDF with the QR code and hang it next to the door: you are ready in 5 minutes. You connect your booking software (PMS) and smart home devices such as Nuki or tado° afterwards in the dashboard.
