Do I need a PMS?
No. CheckYout works without one. A PMS makes things more comfortable because the guest name and next check-in come in automatically – but it is not a requirement.
What if the guest ignores the sign?
On the installations we see so far, the vast majority of guests scan when the sign is placed well (right next to the door or at the key-return spot). For the few who miss it, your existing check-out channels keep working as before.
How long does setup take?
The sign is shipped to you and takes a few minutes to hang. The PMS connection is just as quick to set up in the dashboard – a few minutes too, depending on the system. Smart-home integrations like Nuki or tado° depend on how quickly you have the vendor login at hand.
