Where should I place the sign?

Right next to the entrance door or at the spot where the guest leaves the key. Ideally the scan happens when the guest is already on their way out, not somewhere in the middle of the flat. Eye-level or slightly below works best; hung up overhead, the sign tends to get ignored.
