But what's in the Hostaway calendar is always only the planned check-out, never the real one. CheckYout delivers exactly that signal. Bookings, mapping and first name flow automatically from Hostaway; cleaning and heating follow the real moment at the sign.
What changes when Hostaway and CheckYout play together
Hostaway's task management currently schedules cleanings by calendar. With CheckYout, the actual check-out enters the picture: when the guest scans at 09:30, your cleaning team gets the WhatsApp at 09:30 and can be on site after the usual half-hour of travel from 10:00. CheckYout sends the check-out event back to Hostaway in parallel, so your existing task workflows keep running, just triggered earlier. In your dashboard you see every upcoming check-out, the guest is sent off personally, and the heating switches based on the next booking. That's how the Hostaway integration makes your check-out fully automated.
What you get with the connection
Personal greeting by first name
Hostaway transmits the first name with the reservation. The check-out page then reads "Goodbye, Anna!". Your cleaning team only gets property and time over WhatsApp; the name is seen exclusively by the guest themselves.
Every upcoming check-out at a glance
Who checks out today, which vacation rental becomes free tomorrow, where is the next same-day turnover? In your dashboard you see all Hostaway reservations with check-out times, neatly sorted.
"Property ready" earlier than the task plan
Check-out at 09:30 instead of 11:00? Your cleaning team knows it at 09:30 too, via WhatsApp. With half an hour of travel, the team is on site at 10:00. After they confirm "done", you see the "ready" status in your dashboard, and the event goes back to Hostaway in parallel.
Lower the heating as soon as it's free
If no same-day follow-up booking is in Hostaway, CheckYout lowers the heating after the scan. Per property individually, based on your Hostaway booking data.
Heating back up in time for the next arrival
6 or 12 hours before the next Hostaway arrival, the property heats up automatically. Configurable per property.
Automatic "ready" message to the next guest
Once your cleaning team confirms "done", CheckYout can automatically notify the next guest via Hostaway's messaging: "Your property is ready, you can check in any time." The guest arrives earlier instead of waiting for the blanket 3pm.
