How the turnover runs with Tedee and CheckYout
The previous guest checks out. Your cleaner arrives, gets the place ready, marks it as done in CheckYout. From that moment on: the PIN your new guest already received by email days ago starts working. They get a short "you can come in" message and can walk in.
If they are not there early, everything runs as usual. The PIN is active from the official check-in time anyway. The early-check-in window is a bonus, not a must.

The PIN comes from your booking system as usual. CheckYout only plugs in at the right moment, at the cleaning confirmation.

Tedee locks are Bluetooth-only. The Tedee Bridge (separate hardware, one-off cost approx. EUR 80) connects the lock to the internet. One Bridge can serve several locks in the same building.
For the PIN entry at the door. Without a keypad there is no early check-in.
The Tedee integration is part of the Smart Home add-on (CHF 9.90/mo per property).
How you set it up
In CheckYout under Settings → Connections, click „Connect with Tedee".
Sign in at Tedee and grant the permission.
Assign your lock to a property. Done.
Your PMS creates the guest PIN as before. CheckYout takes over the activation logic from there.

Does my existing Tedee workflow (app, auto-lock) stay active?
Yes. CheckYout only touches access activation for the next guest. Auto-lock, app control, manual codes and all existing Tedee features remain unchanged.
How much does the Tedee connection with CheckYout cost?
The Tedee integration is part of the Smart Home add-on – CHF 9.90 per month per property. Without the add-on, CheckYout runs without smart-lock connection; all notification channels (WhatsApp, email, webhook) are included in the plan.
