Your guest arrives and the place is already good to go.
The moment the turnover is marked as done, the guest PIN goes live. Your guest gets a message that they can walk in. Often hours before the official check-in, a nice surprise if they turned up early.
How the turnover runs with Tedee and CheckYout
The previous guest checks out. Your cleaner arrives, gets the place ready, marks it as done in CheckYout. From that moment on: the PIN your new guest already received by email days ago starts working. They get their ready-message and can walk in.
If they are not there early, everything runs as usual. The PIN is active from the official check-in time anyway. The early-check-in window is a bonus, not a must.

Instead of the awkward „Sorry, you have to wait until 4 p.m." it becomes a „Great, you can walk right in".
You do not have to handle anything
CheckYout remembers which PIN belongs to which booking. When the cleaning is marked as done, it gets activated. You do not send a code, you do not change any time.
Your Tedee works together with your PMS
The PIN comes from your booking system as usual. CheckYout only plugs in at the right moment, at the cleaning confirmation.
What your guest gets out of it
Standing around at noon in an unfamiliar city with luggage is nobody's idea of fun. Your ready-message is the signal that everything is taken care of. No phone call, no follow-up needed.
Also controllable from the dashboard
Open or close the lock from CheckYout when the situation calls for it. For example when a guest locks themselves out or a tradesperson needs quick access.

How you set it up
Connect
In CheckYout under Settings → Connections, click „Connect with Tedee".
Allow
Sign in at Tedee and grant the permission.
Assign
Assign your lock to a property. Done.
Your PMS creates the guest PIN as before. CheckYout takes over the activation logic from there.
